Does exploitation as children affect them in later years? Is it right to blame the media and the celebrities? Or are we responsible for others insecurities? Other's have blamed media and celebrities for causing children and adults to have low self esteem. Everyone should know that the blame can not just be put on Television; but everyone who is a part of this world. Some of our very action might trigger paranoia in others. There's no way to tell for sure; except for observing human behavior among children.
I want to know this for future reference. At some point in life every one feels insecure. What I really wish to see is if these insecurities have anything to do with exploitation at a younger age. Such as beauty pageants ; are they teaching our girls to be confident and comfortable in their own skin or become like plastic dolls. This should interest others due to the high chances of them being able to relate to it. Other should want to know why children/teens and adults have suicidal thoughts . Why they turn to drugs and under go peer pressure?

Exploitation
Before voting ; I would appreciate if you would read the following.
Women every where, no matter what the race or ethnicity have had low self esteem at one point in their lives; regarding how they look. The question today is; Is it right to blame the media for show casing a "perfect" image of a women or is it really our society as a whole , who denies beauty if it comes in any size other than perfection? Toddlers and Tiara is a pageant set up for toddlers who compete against one another in the department of beauty and talent.
"Little girls are supposed to play with dolls, not be dolls," New York-based clinical social worker Mark Sichel tells People in its new cover story this week.
Three year old shouldn't be using "Padding, fake hair, flippers (faux teeth) and spray tans " Would you let your child do this?
"on Wednesday night's Toddlers & Tiaras, Sydney's mom, Marlo, fastened her 11-year-old daughter into a tightly-bound corset.
As Marlo forcefully tied Sydney's dress, she explained: "It doesn't matter if you can breathe or not! It only matters if you look beautiful!""
